About Ashtanga Yoga

Discover the ancient tradition of Ashtanga yoga and experience the benefits of connecting with yourself. The blueprint of Ashtanga includes Yama (ethical guidelines), Niyama (personal observances), Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (breath control), Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation), and Samadhi (union or bliss). Together, these limbs guide you toward physical, mental, and spiritual growth. The practice of Ashtanga integrates these principles, creating balance and harmony in daily life.

A Personal Story: I stepped onto the mat feeling lost. I searched for something that could ground me, heal me, and help me rediscover who I was. I didn’t know it then, but yoga would become the turning point.

Through breath, movement, and stillness, I began to reconnect with myself. Yoga gave me space to heal, and to grow. Today, as a certified teacher in yoga and meditation, I feel called to share this path with others.

Sheshayoga was born from this journey—a space inspired by the timeless wisdom of Ashtanga yoga and the symbolism of Shesha Nagh, the eternal serpent who holds the universe in balance. Just as Shesha remains still beneath the weight of creation, yoga teaches us to find calm within the chaos.
